Positive: The apartment and B&B looked brand new. Everything was sparkling and very clean. It was very easy to locate and to check-in later than anticipated.
It is a very quiet location with beautiful fields and forest on either side. Very easy to access places by car with main attractions being between 30 mins to 1.5 hr drive away.
The owners mother was very pleasant and went above and beyond to make sure we were fully fed at breakfast in the morning (the coffee was great). We also had lovely samples of their homemade carrot jam and juice- interesting but lovely.
Negative: There was nowhere (that we could find) within walking distance to go for a drink/meal in the evening. Not a big deal as we had a car but just meant we relied on it a lot.
Finally, our room had a slanted roof which meant cooking, cleaning and sitting up in bed was a bit challenging. Once again, not a massive deal just something to bear in mind if you are booking the attic room (it was still a gorgeous room).
Summary: Wonderful stay in Logatec

Positive: Very nice property which was recently redecorated to very high standard. The staff is very friendly and the property is spotless. A modest breakfast is available at the property. Very conveniently located to explore the Logatec area, Predjama castle, Postonja caves etc. Western Slovenian villages of Koper and Piran are also under an hour drive away.
Negative: The closest grocery store is around 7 kilometres away.
