A Hotel Inn Sunapee | Hotel in Mount Sunapee, New Hampshire

“I've been coming to this hotel to visit friends in the area for a few years and have always had a good stay, but recently it has come under new ownership. This review is for the new owners. I walked into this hotel I used to love and saw the there was now a tablet instead of front desk staff. There was a man in front of me who was trying to check in and he was unsuccessful and was calling for assistance. When I tried to check in it said that i did not have a reservation and I had to call a phone number for assitance and was put on hold immediately. Mind you, this is not late night, I am there at 3:45 pm! I finally get ahold of someone and get a room number and pin and told to fill out paperwork online to complete the check in process. I get to the room to try to unload my luggage and the key pad door code won't work and just stops lighting up all together essentially locking me out! A kind housekeeper was down the hall and was having issues with the door too. We waited about 10 minutes for the keypad to start working and she put in her code to reset it. Same issue trying to checkout too! The damn tablet is a piece of junk and I feel so bad for the housekeepers. The poor housekeepers had to deal with a loud beeping alarm ise that they had no idea how to handle and had to figure out while they were left alone! Another point is, this place needs front desk staff to provide security for the tenents and housekeeping staff. Anyone can walk in this place there is no security!”

“The lobby in the hotel is very comfortable. The room was clean. There was an issue with my code working. It was resolved. During the second evening, however there was a loud dripping/banging sound coming from the HVAC system. I ended up turning it off, but it kept me awake for a good part of the evening. Also, there was no soundproofing. You could hear people very easily either next-door or above you on the second floor. ”

“Tucked away at the base of Mt Sunnapee. It’s right next to An Irish Pub. Awesome view and great food next door. ”

“Staff are excellent at this hotel however the neighbors were very loud and inconsiderate a door alarm went off at 5 AM and there was nobody there to help get it shut off and it was very annoying”

“Nicely updated with very limited services. Comfortable and clean room. Sunapee are is general is very quiet with limited hotels and restaurants ”

“It was comfortable and it served its purpose of a clean room and clean sheets to lay my head. ”

“This hotel has been renovated recently and done nicely. It's located right behind the Salt Hill Pub and Restaurant so a very easy close walk. The Hotel is dark grey in color, a sign is on the Salt Hill Pub sign which we missed when looking for the Hotel, drove past and had to turn around to find it. Rooms are smaller, small table, two chairs, no dressers for clothes, but a wide bench for luggage, etc. Nice new bathroom and good shower. Good heat from wall mounted unit, a bit noisy at night but no biggie. Has a nice looking indoor pool but didn't try it. TV has mostly movies and older shows, nothing live like local news stations but some Canadian stations, Friendly staff, coffee in AM near the front desk, overall nice place and would stay again. Very close to Sunapee ski area access road and the rotary.”
