Standard hotel, everything worked as should.

The hotel its self was ok , a mixture between a Premier Inn and something more up market, at least that’s what the prices suggested. The receptionist on the day we arrived was very abrupt because we arrived a few hours early, her main concern was insisting that there were no early check ins (even though we had not asked for one) she should have been more focused on greeting us !! The main problem was with the food, we ordered around 8pm and were still waiting for our meals at 8:45 after having a single starter (soup). After I prompted the waitress about the long delay she made an excuse that they had a few large tables in (being a Chef for over 25 years, I don’t understand why this would make any difference to the service of an already active check ? The food, surprisingly came out about 5 minutes after my complaint. The Lasagne had been microwaved to an early death so much so that it had degenerated into a cheesy mush (why there was a cheese sauce in a lasagne in the first place is beyond me), the garlic bread had been toasted so high in the grill that is was cremated. My meal (Hunters chicken) was not much better, the chicken was tough because it had been charred grilled for a long time (probably not meant for our meal) as the construction of the dish was a disgrace. Plus the chip had been dipped at least 5 times. Yet you still had the nerve to charge me for this even though we couldn’t eat a mouthful. Rubbish.

What a surprise ! Plentiful parking. A really well maintained hotel and with super quality en-suite rooms. A great dining experience too.

We stayed for one night in a family room during a very busy weekend in Aberystwyth, due to a national cycling event. Despite this, there was plenty of parking available in the hotel car park, which was a good start. The welcome at reception was very warm and efficient. Our family room was a good size for two adults and two young children, and the coffee table and sofas were particularly useful. The room was generally clean, although we did find a child’s ball under the bed, presumably left by a previous guest. The ensuite was perfectly adequate, but a little on the small side when trying to bath a young child. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with the end of the June 2026 heatwave and the hotel does not have air conditioning. There was an electric table fan in the room, but it was quite noisy when trying to sleep. As the room only had one window, it was difficult to cool it down properly. For that reason, I would be cautious about staying here during very hot weather. There were also a few minor issues: the phone did not appear to work, a couple of light bulbs were out, and there were several sharp corners on the desk, coffee table and bedside tables, which made me slightly uneasy with young children around. For a family room booked for four guests, providing only two biscuits also felt a little mean! We did not use the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a family stay in cooler weather, but not during hot weather.

Nice small hotel near just a mile away from the sea front, its clean and comfortable and ample parking and good local amenities

Nice, efficient staff. Free parking on site. Lovely spacious clean room. Big comfortable bed, great shower and everything else you do need was there. Lovely breakfast and good menu for evening meals. I would choose this hotel again for this area.

Highly recommended. Good choice of food at a reasonable price. Bedroom was a good size. Modern looking hotel, being well decorated and pleasing to look at. The only downside was the bathroom in our room 3 smell of sewerage. It was reported to the staff and I am sure can be fixed. It would not stop me going again.

Stay was good, staff helpful and breakfast enjoyable.

Hotel was inviting and convenient with onsite good parking. Room was very clean. Shower OUTSTANDING!

Found the hotel really good. There is plenty of parking at the hotel and it was very good value for money. Breakfast was included in the price we paid and was really good. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed and the bathroom was a good size. Lovely clean bedding and towels and everywhere was clean.
