Charming hotel with very good service. Only thing missing was a proper shower. That is important for me.

Really nice hotel in the central of the village. The building and the rooms are extraordinary and the staff very helpful. The only issue we had was arriving at a Sunday evening meant that the restaurant was closed which was a bit unfortunate in itself and at first no one was there so we had some problems to access our rooms but a telephone call solved that part.

Very comfortable and well equipped.

My only complaint was the bathroom, due to the old construction of the house the shower was almost impossible to use unless you are a small person. The food at the restaurant was excellent.

The restored building has lots charm and the staff is very accommodating.

Very quaint hotel (1468) in middle of Eberbach. Easy to reach by train from Frankfurt airport (via Mannheim). 5 min walk from rail station. Free wifi in hotel which worked well. Staff very friendly and helpful. No lift. Food in restaurant was very good. Breakfast was served individually (Rolls, jams, meat and cheese, fruit juice, coffee) and was very fresh. The only downside was the en suite bathroom. The shower was TINY and was only just big enough for me (5ft 7ins tall) as the ceiling was very low (I did say it was quaint!). If you are taller, worth checking with hotel whether they have a bathroom with a taller ceiling.

We thought we had stumbled into a movie set or storybook! This quaint alpine hotel in this picturesque village provided an authentic experience in Germany that we would love to recommend. Interestingly, the bathroom in this 600+ year old structure was nicer and more modern than the 21st century place we stayed in Paris! Can't wait to go back!
