“I couldn’t find a bad thing to say about Ammothines even if I tried! What a wonderful place to stay. It’s a family owned hotel and they make you feel like family when you stay there. Smiling faces everywhere and help whenever you need it. We didn’t eat dinner there, but had breakfast and lunch every day and the food was lovely, probably one of the best chefs at all the hotels in Naxos! The location on Plaka is amazing and you have the option to walk over to the beach to a cabana reserved for Ammothines guests or relax at the lovely pool. The bar is awesome with great cocktails. Marino welcomed us every evening after dinner for a night cap. He made delicious drinks, but more importantly, gave us incredible recommendations for villages and restaurants to visit around the island. We had some of the best food and best experiences because of him! The gardens around the property are stunning. Smells of rosemary and other herbs as you walk the property, so nice! Overall it was an outstanding stay and we will 100% be back. Thank you Ammothines!”

“What an amazing, beautiful property! It was better than expected! You could tell they paid great attention to detail with the layout of the property and the comforts of the room. The bed was so comfortable and they even offered 2 types of pillow, one firmer than the other. The property was located right across from a beautiful beach. We did rent a car since it was not near the town center but it was not inconvenient. Their breakfast and dinner were of foodie quality. And of course the entire staff was very attentive and friendly. It was perfect for us - relaxing and quiet. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come again.”

Aris stands out as a delightful person,who was a thoughtful and efficient server at the restaurant. Food was delicious. The hotel is spotless and all the workers are so friendly! “This place was amazing. It's at the end of a somewhat underdeveloped part of Plaka Beach, so it's very quiet and you basically. The staff are all super nice and accommodating. The bar at the pool has some of the best bartenders on the whole island. The cocktail menu is great, and they also can make anything you like. I like a good Mai Tai, and they made a proper one for me which was amazing.”

The staff and service were lovely and the beach in front of the hotel is beautiful. The food was also excellent - home cooked pies every morning!
