“This hotel is perfect as a base to explore the eastern side of the island, conveniently located between Mount Etna and the sea. The hotel is lovely - clean and modern with everything you need including a pool. It is a family run business, and they could not have been more lovely - nothing was too much trouble. Our flight was delayed and we had problems picking up the hire car, but they waited up to check us in at 1am! The breakfast buffet was ample with lots of fresh fruit and freshly baked pastries/cakes and omelettes from their own hens. You can order dinner at the hotel at an extra cost, but all lovingly prepared and we had the best tiramisu on the holiday! Would definitely recommend!”

Breakfast is abundant with the typical fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, cold cuts and homemade cakes and tarts --eggs upon request. Rooms are very clean if somewhat stuffy because a/c is turned off during the day to economize energy. The place is relatively newly renovated so everything sparkles. It is well located for all the local sights. Ample free parking, good wifi. Gorgeous pool overlooking olive groves with the sea in the distance. What's not to love? The beds are hard and older bones will feel it in the morning.”
