Summary: Quick overnight stop, For a motor hotel likely built in the 40’s/50’s this place is well maintained, clean, quiet at least for me as I got in at midnight. Comfortable beds and great water pressure. A few exterior lights weren’t operating made seeing room numbers a bit tough. Carpet is a bit dated and worn

Summary: This is property is an amazing piece of vintage American history. We were told it was the first motel in Moab, built around 1954 because of the film industry. John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Anthony Quinn and a host of other actors stayed here.
The motel maintains the charm of the ’50s but has modern conveniences and has been updated. If you’re looking for comfort and character, this is the place to stay. Better than staying in some sterile chain hotel. We walked to dinner both nights of our visit. They had free bikes to use around town and had a fire pit going each night. No problem parking and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Summary: Very clean older motel. The rooms and outside walks and balconies were spotless. The windows were the cleanest I have ever seen. The motel shows some signs of aging (carpet needs to go) but for the price, this stay was fantastic with a good bed and a cool, dark room. We did not have time to use the pool or bikes but the pool looked sparkling clean. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Summary: The staff was over the top amazing. Willing to help at all times. Very friendly. The room was fun and vibrant. Even had a blue rotary phone. Very few amenities, but it was nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again. Very out of the ordinary, and I like that.
