Positive: We had 5 nights in this apartment in Stresa. Our host was very nice and helpful and was easy to communicate. Apartment is beautiful, very clean and conveniently located - about 10 minutes' walk from the train station. It has absolutely everything you need. Bed is very comfortable. It is the nice part of the town, very green and very quiet. It was easy to park a car there as well. We have enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you very much, Federico and thank you to your mom.
Negative: Nothing, absolutely perfect place.
Summary: The best apartment in Stresa.

Positive:
There was a large sofa bed in the living room so we were able to have two bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with tea and coffee, salt and oil and vinegar. Loved the washing machine and soap was supplied.
Negative:
The bathtub was deep and shower door unusual so we were glad to have a bath mat to avoid slipping.
Summary: Moderate uphill hike from the train station to a beautiful street

Positive:
Spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Excellent communication from the host. Beautiful garden to relax in with a glass of wine after days out on stunning Lake Maggiore. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Very comfortable sofa bed as well as lovely bedroom.
Negative:
Hadn’t realised it was up a fairly steep road from the lake so challenging for my mum in her 80’s in the heat of the day.
Summary: Fabulous holiday on stunning Lake Maggiore - lovely qapartment

Positive:
Very quiet residential location. Easy access to the train station. Supermarket, ferry terminal, lido and the old town all within a 15-20 minute walk. Access to garden space with shade or sun.
Negative:
Apartment kept cool, even without the air con unit on, which was a bit noisy and I'm not sure it would cope with 30C every day. Most days we didn't need it, especially as the nights were cool enough to sleep.
Summary: We were charmed by Stresa.

We liked everything.
