“We stayed here for 1 night, arriving at 5pm. Our daughter was able to swim in the pool for over an hour (we were worried it would close early but pleased to see everything open). The room was clean and spacious. We ate in the restaurant that evening which was good value. A very nice continental breakfast was included in the price which made the hotel excellent value. Would recommend this hotel”

“The hotel was adequate and clean, the only coment I would make was the room was a little on the small side but nice none the less,quite a good location with plenty going on. The Restaurant was excellent, well priced good quality food a good portions, I would not describe it as fine dining, just good quality well prepared food with a good selection on the menu. I would definitely recommend it and will most likely stay there again.”

“It’s very charming and beautiful place, but there were some things which just put us off. When room upstairs was taking shower our shower was dripping , when upstairs someone was flushing toilets you could hear it very loudly in our bedroom, we could not sleep as you could hear people snoring next room- very thin walls! Toilet very old and not presenting well. Beautiful around but actual stay was quite unpleasant.”

“Staff lovely. Photos as described. There was a smell of damp in the room which may be explained by old building cold weather and lack of ventilation unit in ensuite. However pleasant enough stay. Bed was comfortable and perfect location for the Eurotunnel the next morning ”
