“This renovated home was absolutely charming! The train being right out front was a blessing for getting around town. Great location! The street we were on was beautiful. Entering our room was like stepping into an elegant past with the joy of modern air conditioning. Even climbing the stairs added to the charm. The bathroom was dated and disappointing, but not enough to keep us away in the future.”

“This hotel is "OK" at best. Pro's: - Beautiful Building with lots of character - Great Neighbourhood - Very close to Boston University (5min drive or 20min walk) - Comfy bed & clean sheets Con's: - Staff are not that friendly - The building really needs maintenance. Our room door barely closed/locked, and there was a huge gap in it. Someone could have easily gotten into our room with one swift push into the door. - Very dingy and dirty, especially the common areas. Carpets haven't been replaced or washed in decades. Filthy really. - Parking is limited and very tight along the back. One night, I caught someone trying to break into the cars. - Towels are tiny - The whole place gives creepy and unsafe vibes. Definitely would not recommend for a woman to stay there by herself.”

“The positives of the stay were the proximity to the T station, which was very convenient for our daily plans. The beds were large and comfortable. The community was nice, clean and safe. The negatives were that the place was not very clean, the shower was gross and the room we were in (2) was very noisy, there was a thin door/wall between us and the lobby. We were woken up multiple times throughout the night as people returned. Additionally, the “breakfast” arrived at 8am when the staff arrived and pulled the muffins out of cold storage. There were also boxes of Frosted Flakes if you like that. Most days we left before 8am and found good breakfast options nearby. I will not stay here again.”

“We spent four nights at Beacon Inn 1087 and loved the location. The convenience to the T station, several excellent restaurants, and a nice walk to/from Fenway Park made it a perfect choice. Our only issue was that the shower/tub valve and faucet needs to be replaced (it would shoot water onto the floor), and we did mention that to management as we were leaving. I would have liked to have an in-room coffeemaker (and would probably bring my own if we come back) as we were on the fourth floor, and it was a hike back up to the room from the first floor with coffee. They did have very good muffins, however! The list of local restaurants was very helpful, and we tried three of the places on the list. All of them were terrific.”

“What a cool and unique place to stay!! Stayed overnight while attending a concert @ MGM Fenway. Great location, lots of eateries, shopping and coffee nearby. Staff is so friendly and helpful with check in, parking and check out. Definitely would stay again. ”
