Best Western Gudauri Reviews
“I had a room facing the street and it was very noisy throughout the night. Trucks will drive by dogs were barking and there is a LED orange light that stays on also throughout the night and you can’t turn it off.”
“The balcony is directly over the military road...continuous trafic day and night...”
“We had 2 bookings with Expedia for 3 rooms at this hotel, but upon arrival, we were informed by the hotel staff that they have only received 1 booking from Expedia. Instead of throwing us out in the cold (like many other hotels would probably do), they did all the hard work for us by calling Expedia to solve this problem, which is of no fault of theirs. From our vast travel experience, we think most hotels would have expected us to call Expedia ourselves, to try and find out where our booking was. The General Manager, Ms Neena, was very efficient and professional in explaining the whole situation to us.The rooms were clean, and very modern, and all the basic necessities we needed were provided for. Breakfast and meals at the restaurant were also great, with very efficient staff running like clockwork. The jacuzzi and sauna are complimentary, and have to be booked in advance for the privacy comfort of the guests. Free shuttle buses are provided to take guests to the ski lifts. The staff were all very professional and efficient. We can highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Gudauri, and our advice is, if you can afford it, go for the Family Rooms. They are much more spacious and luxurious compared to the standard ones.”
