Best Western PLUS Ruston Hotel | Hotel in Ruston, Louisiana

“Room was clean and Comfortable .Staff was very polite and helpful.”

“Bathroom vanity light was out, second bathroom light flickered when on. Floors had not been vacuumed or mopped recently with hair, dirt, rubber bands on ground. No toilet paper in bathroom even after “housekeeping” came by. Bathroom ceiling was peeling and molded in an area. Room phone did not work. Only housekeeping I saw was a woman and a child with her that was cleaning, both in street clothes. Generally unprofessional services.”

“Room clean, breakfast good, staff helpful.”

“Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great to navigate into town right off interstate.”

“I stayed here for 3 nights during my daughter’s college orientation. The parking was great, and the staff especially the front desk receptionist were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. The toilet paper was left on the sink instead of the holder, there were no coffee packets (only sugar and creamer), no “Do Not Disturb” sign, and the TV cable didn’t work. The biggest issue was housekeeping. The bathroom didn’t feel properly cleaned, so I wiped it down myself. The towels weren’t neatly folded, and overall the room felt like it had been rushed. I usually leave a tip for housekeeping, but this time I didn’t because the room wasn’t cleaned to the standard I expected. I didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on the food. I only grabbed coffee downstairs since there wasn’t any in my room. Overall, the staff and parking were great, but the housekeeping needs improvement. I’m not sure if I’ll stay here again. I’ll probably look at other options next time, but I haven’t completely ruled it out.”

“The staff was amazing. They were wonderful to my daughters and I even giving her advice on her volleyball camp.”

“Very clean and comfortable. Staff was a bit off-putting.”

“The breakfast was terrible; eggs did not taste like eggs; One of the staff members called me a "smart ass" when she thought I had checked out and tried to open my door to my room at 10:20 am; there was only 1 person working the front desk at times and our wait was very long to check in while he was upstairs; the room had rust on the corners of the room and in the shower area; Workers on check out day, sitting at the front desk eating chips while customers checking out; the gentlemen that worked the desk were very nice and polite and accommodating but the rest was not good.”

“The hotel needs to update and replace the nasty dirty furniture. The bathrooms have rust stains in them. The water doesnt get hot in the shower. The sheer curtains were stained. Over the rooms were dirty”

“No hot water, only warm at best. Front desk staff was not helpful. The bed was very uncomfortable. I try to find the good in all situations but there was not much good at all about this hotel stay. I will not recommend.”
