BluZen | Hotel in Caye Caulker

From the moment we arrived, this resort exceeded every expectation. The manager greeted us at the dock with a warm smile and that hospitality never wavered for the entire trip. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a stunning ocean view that made waking up feel like a dream. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially with our little one. The patio had a beautiful view and the top floor was even better. Honestly, it’s rare to find a resort where every detail feels this well thought out. We left already planning our next visit with some friends to take advantage of the space. Highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly luxurious getaway.

The resort was ok… this time around wasn’t as great. The staff in the morning at Lotus specifically a young woman… wasn’t very helpful. She made it like a chore to served. The staff at lotus at night was great. The mice on the resort is bad.

There were not a lot of units but 3 pools. Never had to fight or get up early to get a chair. We could always find shade on our large balcony that looked out over the ocean. The reef was unbelizeable ! Swam with sharks, manatee, stingray, and turtles. Also tubed the caves which was incredibly beautiful and relaxing. All around great trip!

It was really really awesome. We really loved it and enjoyed it. The resort was perfect. The staff was amazing. We loved every experience about the resort and the split and the other island we enjoyed. We had the best food everywhere we went and we just really loved our accommodations. It was so modern and so beautiful.

The room and property is actually very nice but you can’t get in the water cause it’s seaweed or whatever it is all in the water it’s make the whole area stink so bad also the staff could’ve of been a little more helpful and they need to tighten up on a few other things cause the place only been open for a few years swim up bar not done yet it’s a few other things but

Great vacation and location. Not much to do on the island but if looking for laid back this is the place. Sargasm is pretty thick in the spring and summer and can be stinky. No beach. We took a boat out for the day and was amazing. Also hung out at the split.

On my last day of departure, they did not come over and pick up my luggage like they promise and they weren’t able to give me a simple chair for my balcony so I was deeply disappointed, but the property itself is very nice. Poor service.

When you book on Expedia you are not treated the same as you book directly. Do not rebook spa services because if you want to cancel they don’t allow it. The security told me my mother and 16 year old daughter if we left the stray dog at the resort they would kill it so I loaded it onto golf cart and took to ferry. I did address with night manager and they said they wouldn’t kill the dog but who knows. Security walks around with a club and is very intimidating. The beach itself was murky and so we did not swim in in the ocean next to the resort. Everything closes down around 9 pm at resort. We went to El Ben twice. The food was superb. We had so much fun with wanderlust tours going out on water and at bliss beach which is about a mile away. Overall I am not sure I would stay here again.

This was a ultra modern resort with excellent rooms and staff. Beautiful resort. In room laundry and multiple salt water pools. The restaurants were good but not great and the on site store was convenient but not well stocked. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They had a terrible sargassum problem that rendered the sea front useless and the pools were cold
