“We were welcomed by the brother of the hosts, Elier, and he welcomed us as if we were family ourselves. Very friendly, enthusiast and always wants to help, even after you leave Viñales. For example, Elier did not shy away from helping us book transportation between other destinations in Cuba. The rooms are simple but clean and the friendly hosts, who also offer personalised tours, make it worth 5 stars. Location of the casa is also very good, walking distance from the main street but still in between the banana trees, chickens and colibris. Viñales is suffering from many power breaks but measures are taken to always have light, wifi and ventilation in the room by means of a generator. ”

“I dont often feel the need to write reviews. But our stay here is the exception. We were welcomed by Pedros brother Eli, as he was away, along with Eli's wonderful family. To say that they made us feel at home and part of a family, while still giving us our space to do what we wanted, would be an understatement. Eli was so hopeful in helping us around town, to organise trips and provide us with every comfort we could ask. His family even did some laundry for us after we got more than a bit muddy on a bike ride in the rain. They didnt ask anything for this and it was a mark of their outstanding hospitatlity. If your going to Vinales, look no further than here. We travelled all over Cuba, but this Casa, Eli, his family and the beautiful town of Vinales was our favourite. He even helped us out via WhatsApp in other cities as we travelled arpund the country. It felt like saying goodbye to a long time friend when we left. The tours operated from here are great and safe to trust, no scams and only genuine Cuban people and products are provided. Stay here!”

Pedro’s younger brother, Elier, welcomed us with a warm smile and was incredibly attentive from the very first moment. He not only helped us settle in but took the time to share his local knowledge about Viñales. Elier gave us detailed recommendations on the best places to visit, from the lush tobacco farms to hidden caves and stunning viewpoints. He even suggested local restaurants and arranged for activities like horseback riding through the valley. His passion for his hometown was infectious, making us even more excited to explore. It felt like we had our personal guide who genuinely cared about making our stay unforgettable. Thanks to Elier, we discovered parts of Viñales we wouldn’t have found on our own. “Our stay in Vinales was incredible and we owe it all to Elier (Eli) and his family. They were welcoming, gracious, attentive, and beyond helpful. His restaurant and activity recommendations were spot on. Eli exchanged USD for CUP at a reasonable rate, helped us to rent a motorcycle for a day, provided transportation a few times, and helped us to arrange tours/transportation. The property was clean, safe, and conveniently located. Breakfast was good and the portions were generous. Wifi was strong and there was a generator, which helped with the inevitable blackouts experienced while traveling through Cuba. Vinales is beautiful, but I don't think we would have enjoyed it nearly as much as we did if it hadn't been for Eli taking care of/arranging so many things for us. We were so grateful for his hospitality. We spent 2 weeks in Cuba - the 3 nights we spent in Vinales were the highlight of our trip thanks to Eli. ”

“Really great stay, started off with an issue caused by Expedia double booking however the owners handled it brilliantly. Room was spacious and very clean, and there was more than enough back up power for anytime the town was in a blackout. Eli was great as he was always wanting to improve my stay however he could, wether it was by organising trips or preparing meals. Would definitely use again.”

“We had a wonderful stay. Pedro was away, but we were very well looked after by his brother Eli and his wife. The room was spotlessly clean, with a nice quiet patio area where we had a lovely fresh breakfast every morning. Even though there were power cuts every day, they had a solar battery, so we always had hot showers, wifi and lights. Eli organized everything for us, including excursions, taxis, exchange and dinner reservations. We discovered the price was no different than trying to organize everything ourselves, and made life so much easier. He checked at least twice a day that we had everything we needed. We got to meet his family, and felt incredibly welcome. ”
