“A very pleasant hotel, tastefully decorated and clean. Staff were absolutely brilliant and helpful - especial thanks to Marcus and Ana. However, one of the owners would greatly benefit from a crash course in customer care - you know who you are! They don't appear to like people booking their stay with expedia... well, then don't advertise it there! My room was pretty noisy as you can hear everything going on in the corridor, but breakfast was great and my bed was comfortable. I did want to love it, so a bit disappointed.”

“A nice hotel with lots of outside space. It would be 5 stars if the roof didn’t creak due to temperature changes and charging €2.80 to chill 0.5l of tap water was expensive.”

“Breakfast and staff are great. The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere within the city core. The location is perfect for exploring on foot. The courtyard pool was a nice amenity. Parking was a bit iffy, but we were fortunate to find an empty spot in the free lot immediately behind the hotel. ”

“What a jewel very centrally located. The lady that attended us was super nice and there were many little nice touches. You can feel that they really care. Our short one night stay couldn’t have been better and is was very quiet. I think the rooms on the upper floor are a bit bigger and have more light. Our room on the ground floor with city view was a bit dark with a window looking against a wall of a narrow side alley. Perfect if you just stay for the night, but if you spend more time at the hotel, would choose a bigger room upstairs. ”

“Casa Rosa Villa is a great little gem. It is a 4 min walk from the train station, centrally located to town and the wharf yet quiet enough to sleep! I was lucky to arrive 10 minutes before a rooftop yoga class (taught by (the owner). It was much needed after 20 hours of travel. He taught a fantastic class, gave me some recommendations for local restaurants and then I crashed and slept for 10 hours in a dark, quiet and cozy room. Breakfast was delicious - everything is local and fresh. The scrambled eggs were perfect and creamy, coffee strong and hot and croissants and jam fresh. I had some time before moving to my next location and enjoyed an afternoon by the pool and common area with free fresh coffee, tea and cold water all day long. Really a sweet little place with excellent service and a warm and friendly staff. Of note: the second floor rooms are up a steep staircase so request a room on the first floor if that is a concern.”
