“If we could give Castello Di Gargonza 10 stars, we would. Everything was truly exceptional, from the breathtakingly beautiful location, to the lovely, luxurious rooms, to the warm and accommodating staff, to the delicious local food and drinks. It was a peaceful escape in the middle of our whirlwind Italy trip for my son’s graduation. So centrally located in Tuscany, an hour(ish) or less from Firenze, Siena, etc. Special thanks to Deanna and Lucia for being so amazing!”

“The Castello is a unique experience. The service is excellent, it is family run and it is high quality. Because the accommodation is in former village homes it is unusual but has been modernised with high quality facilities and air conditioning. The restaurant is very good and again great staff. Great pool. It is convenient for visiting Sienna or Arezzo.”

“I had the best experience here. I had come here with a group 22 years ago at age 13. I had wanted to relive and reminisce being at the castle and my experience was just as it was 22 years later at age 35!! I adored the staff and their attention and care to me as a solo traveling female. I felt like they became more than staff during my time, but friends. They showed me the inside of the room I stayed in with my grandparents as a little girl. It was really special to walk though. I always felt safe, even walking around the property at night. I WILL be back sooner rather than (22 years) later. :) ”

“Reception was very friendly, even offer to take us to our room (sort of complicated in the castle). Room was very clean and comfortable, however WiFi single was inconsistent in different spot. Dinner manual was good (consider the location), breakfast had excellent choices and service. ”

“If ever there is a place I would go back in Tuscany, this would be. Out of way enough to have absolute silence and close enough to enjoy the whole region for day trips. The breakfast bread and cake are made in home by Lucia and Veronica. 2 outstanding ladies. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who can enjoy few days in between and have car. For weddings would be a dream.”
