Positive: The owner spoke German and English, which was helpful.
She was friendly and helpful. Everything was stylishly furnished, from the room to the dining table; breakfast was very good.
Negative: There was a rustling sheet on the mattress; you had to lie still, because as soon as you turned over, it rustled. It was very annoying.

Positive:
The host was amazing! Patou went over and beyond as our host. We had a flat tire. And since our French was minimal, she stepped in to help sort things out. She even took us to the train station. She fed us well for breakfast, eggs, yogurt, cheese, fruit salad, French breads with jam and butter and of course coffee. She is a pleasent and caring person. It was like we were staying with family. We highly recommend Chez Patou.
Negative:
The home was older up beautifly updated. Very charming so no complaints. If you want modern, this might not be for you.
Summary: Our stay was great! Patou made our stay so much better.

Positive:
We had to rearrange another booking at short notice and booked two rooms here for one night. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated, had both A/C and a ceiling fan which was a blessing in the heatwave, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was served on a large shady balcony by the very kind hostess. Parking was easy, lots of spaces right outside the door. The town of Laval is well worth a visit, would highly recommend Chez Patou for a stopover.
Summary: Great place
