“Lovely B&B, hosts Rob and Melissa were awesome!, friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. Our room was spotless, comfortable bed, and spacious. There was a fridge in the room with milk, and bottled water, and also a couple of cakes - a nice touch! We were only staying one night, but would happily visit again for a longer stay!”

“Nice room but en suite very small and cramped. Not sure I actually got the room I thought I had booked but in the end it did not matter as it was only for one night. Very friendly folks and very helpful. Not had breakfast yet so cannot comment on that. Close to shops and city centre. With parking.”

“Fabulous one night stay. Immaculately presented. Very comfortable bed. Lots of little touches helped to elevate the experience (e.g. cake and refreshments in the room). Just a few minutes walk to town. Breakfast was superb, well cooked and presented and generous portions. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful with information. Would loved to have stayed longer. Highly recommended”

“Owners could not have been more helpful and the breakfast was probably the best I have ever had . Equally as good as a recent Michelin star hotel and it was very good! Thank you for your hospitality. ”

“Had a fabulous stay at Chilton House, so much so we extended our stay by one night (they only had one extra night free) as we didn't want to leave. Beautiful decor, delicious breakfasts and the loveliest hosts. Highly recommended.”
