“Val and Chris are wonderful hosts and very welcoming. Had a five star breakfast and ate far too much. The room was very comfortable, spotless and had everything I needed. Couldn’t ask for better. Highly recommend. ”

“Very well-presented accommodation, clean throughout. The room was attractive but very small and cramped for two people, especially the shower en suite room. As relatively slim guests, we could cope - but wonder how larger guests would move about in the rooms without discomfort. The bed itself was comfortable and the shower was fine.
The breakfast was just lovely, and the owners are very sociable and interesting to talk to.”

“Excellent choice to stay at The Bryn. Everything relevant explained at check-in and nothing disappointed. I have eating difficulties and these were fully understood and accommodated for a great breakfast. Val and Chris were excellent entertaining hosts, we felt fully welcomed as friends and wish them every success. Our only gripe was having to leave Bailey (their adorable dog) behind when we left. Very handy for walking into Oswestry. ”

“Lovely stay. Very attentive hosts, Val and Chris. Room was beautiful and it was nice having our own ‘front door’
Beds were very comfortable and a lovely cooked breakfast with lots of homemade goodies

“Excellent, quiet location, easy walking distance to town.
Very fast internet.
Comfortable bed, excellent downstairs room with patio doors. ”

“Unfortunately the room was tiny with very little room to move about. The en-suite was extremely small and dangerous. As you stood at the sink our heels were catching the bottom threshold of the shower cubicle. The toilet was also extremely squashed in. Never experienced anything that small and we are not large people. The bed was the most uncomfortable we had ever tried to sleep on and the pillows were passed their best. Consequently we had little sleep.
On the positive side, the hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was very good, although this was served on a shared table with other guests and was in the kitchen diner area.”
