Wake up each morning and take a morning stroll around the resort to admire the hundreds of boats docked along the waters. After enjoying the 4 mile boardwalk around the resort you can sip your morning coffee overlooking the water. When you're ready to venture out, you can head to the beaches of Nags Head (a 5 minute car ride) or to downtown Manteo for some of the cutest and most unique shopping on the Outer Banks. Don't feel like leaving the resort? Spend the day lounging by the pool and step over to Mimi's Tiki Hut at Pirates Cove Marina for lunch al fresco. If you need some afternoon activity, enjoy a tennis match or a game of pickle ball before freshening up for dinner. You may want to pick up some seafood from any of the nearby seafood markets, or you may feel like trying one of the *many* delicious local restaurants with a water view that is within a stones throw of Reel Escape. -Our full kitchen enables you to cook meals when you would otherwise have to dine out. The average traveler spends approximately $45/day dining out, which can add up to significant savings for a week long stay!
-Reel Escape is larger than a typical hotel room and has more privacy. With a separate living room, porch, bedroom, and kitchen - there is plenty of room to spread out during your stay.
-We have a washer and dryer inside our unit and even provide laundry detergent for your convenience! (Anyone else hate using the same dirty beach towel for an entire week?)
-Hotels typically have basic cable and charge big fees for any additional entertainment. At Reel Escape, we have an extended cable package as well as a Smart TV with a complimentary Netflix subscription.
