Comfortable, quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed having a glass of wine and charcuterie on the deck overlooking the yard. The tree frogs provided an interesting symphony. Breakfast was delicious!

This was my first stay at a B&B & it couldn’t have been better. Sandy was an exceptional hostess with superb breakfast making skills, excellent communication & a beautiful home & property. She gave us great recommendations in nearby Galena (Otto’s was delicious!) & made sure our stay was flawless. 10/10 would stay again, I am still thinking about those wonderful breakfasts!

Charming and lovingly maintained independent living area with a complete kitchen and all the accessories one might need throughout. The location is rural, quiet and beautiful with easy access by car to nearby Galena and the Mississippi River as well as numerous parks and natural reserves for walking, sightseeing, etc.
Our hosts were as accommodating as they were discreet; the breakfasts were abundant, delicious and healthy, including homemade baked treats, and served at our convenience.
