“Overall we are so satisfied with our stay at Eliassen Rorbuer. Fantastic location and could not be more authentic to the region. The only remark we have is that the sauna was in use during our stay, which should have added another layer to our experience. Can very much recommend Eliassen Rorbuer for anyone interested in visiting Lofoten. We will definitely come back!”

“When we arrived, there was a sewage problem in the bathroom and had a terrible smell. We had to move from two bedroom apartment to one bedroom unit where we could not sleep well.”

“Really beautiful, cute cabins right on the water. Beautiful views, kitchen was fully stocked, blackout curtains in the bedroom and the living room area was perfect for relaxing. We'd give it a 5-start except for the fact that the smoke alarms were overly sensitive when cooking. When boiling water, the alarm would go off because the sensor is right above the stove. Then the alarm malfunctioned and did some "quieter" beeping for 2 hours straight. It took us awhile to even realize that it was the smoke detector. We notified staff and they were super helpful and eventually found a fix. Seems small but it was quite annoying for the duration of our trip.”

“Room was clean and spacious. However, pay the little extra money for the beautiful Mountain View! To be honest that’s what makes it special. Had to sit outside in rain to enjoy view. We had a superior double and couldn’t upgrade room because sold out, which I totally understood. Also, no place to get a drink until restaurant opened at 1800, so we decided to go to Anita’s seafood which was amazing. Can’t comment on breakfast because we chose to eat elsewhere.”

“We were surprised to have been reserved a unit right on the deck with spectacular views!! It was more than enough room for my wife and me and it had all the amenities we needed and more than expected. We felt right at home and do not want to leave:)! Since my wife loves pastries, the bakery was an added benefit!”

“Honestly I was disappointed with my stay at this place . It’s really run down and need serious maintenance . The view of our unit was nice although the bridge with the traffic on it did bother me a bit . Not the place I would choose again.”
