Really nice, quiet home, tucked away from the busyness of the surrounding area. Everything is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast provided was nice. Would definitely stay there again if I was in the area
Truly a home away from home. The well-stocked kitchen (fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, etc.) is open 24/7 to guests. Just as at home, you're the dish washer. :-) The hotel, built in 1909 as a home, is elegant, the beautiful woodwork and staircases preserved, fresh flowers in vases throughout the downstairs living and dining areas. The dial telephone even works! There's a shady parking lot next to the hotel. If stairs are an issue, note that there's no elevator. We plan to stay there every time we visit family in Portland!
