“nice, small hotel super close to the beach. the staff is very friendly but they are not super helpful when it comes to ordering a taxi.. but overall it‘s very nice and i can recommend it. just be aware that it‘s directly at a road where even during the night, there‘s quite a lot of loud traffic.”

“Ideal for a short stay, very clean and staff were lovely. Some rooms are recently refurbished to a very good standard however some are not.”

“Sète is a little complicated as far as hotels. I was only in town to see the Brassens museum and gravesite, and also went to the Paul Valéry museum, which are quite far from the old town center, which is known for heavy traffic and scarce parking. It’s probably a two-hour walk round trip plus hills to see both museums. The location of the Imperial Hotel is convenient to both museums as long as you have a car. Parking in the public lot across the street is free from 7pm-9am and on Sunday. It’s less well located if you want a bunch of restaurants and bars around, although there is a highly-rated restaurant and highly-rated bistro within a block or two, plus a nice pizzeria next door and a so-so looking bar next to that and a mini Carrefour across the street. Besides that, there’s not much within walking distance unless you want to gamble at the casino. The staff at the hotel are very pleasant and welcoming, the building and rooms are clean and in good shape, and the off-season price was very good. It worked out well for me. ”
