“Great place for a family vacation in the Douro region. We stayed in a cottage with two bedrooms and a living room. Plenty of space for a family of four with a little dog. There are lots of activities to entertain the little ones like two pools, one indoor and another outdoor, bicycle rides and wineward walks. ”

“The property is one of the most beautiful places we ever had the pleasure to stay at. Very well decorated, beautiful garden, spectacular views and just the most calming atmosphere ever. The pool area is fantastic and the pool itself is big and allows for a nice swim. The bar at the pool was fantastic, with a great menu selection plus fantastic service. This bring me to the next topic… the restaurant. We loved the food. There was nothing we ate that we did not like. Everything was tasty and cooked with fresh produce. I would go back in a second and have already recommended Herdade da Cortesia to everyone I know. Also, the service overall was fantastic, everyone was very attentive and thinking ahead which made our stay effortless. Nevertheless, I do have to highlight Ana Rita who we had the pleasure to serve us during Breakfast for both of our dinners. Always nice, friendly with a smile on her face (even if we could only see her eyes due to the masks) and always making recommendations and asking for our opinion. We loved everything about our stay and hope to be back soon!”

“It is a beautiful hotel, amazing rooms. Amazing staff, good location But if you want peace and quiet check 1st with the hotel if there are any families. I went for 2 days only to relax and it was difficult because it was full of families with kids which made impossible to relax by the pool. Of course not the hotel fault but in between screamings and throwing themselfs to the pool I was able to go inside after 19h for a quick swim. Yes it was difficult. You also have the dam which is quiet. Food is good and you have variety. Although it said on the website (rope and hair dryer) I did not have any of those. But overall it was good except I did not rest those 2 days”
