Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: I like retro building and brutalist architecture and the view from the room
Negative: Everything smelled faintly like cigarette smoke. The air conditioner did not cool the room at all despite adjusting the temperature. Pool is closed for a year. Front desk staff isn’t the friendliest or as polished as i would have expected. I don’t expect super phony but it just seemed like minimum wage workers. Kinda flat vibe. Some kind of water was leaking into buckets in hallway. Musty

Bathroom. Cracked sink. My wife could not take a shower because there was several inches of water in the tub with black debris type stuff coming up out of the mostly plugged up tub drain? She had to wash up in the sink. We were time pressed to make it to a convention in the area. Shower tub plug backed up some debris and hair coming into tub from drain Door security not good from dead bolt not working and upper door security, where the chain goes Mickey Mouse with a block of wood that was not thick enough for Door Security. Took photos of everything. Management said they would have maintenance correct problems. Also, I don’t think the room should’ve been rented in that condition if we had known of those bathroom problems we would have had them put the room out of service and give us another room.
Summary: Not good grounds outside, dirty, broken glass trash around the only thing that looks good is the ent
