Loved it! Great anniversary weekend

Nice location.. There was no ventilation in the bathroom Internet was troublesome staff was nice but service people did not speak any english

Was not told that 32$ parking would be charged was very expected the lady who checked me in was rude I think because we look young

Excellent location. Hotel was under construction - so would like to revisit once done.

The thermostat in the room was useless. There was no switch to choose between heating and air conditioning, and it made no difference in room temperature whether the thermostat was at 65 or literally 80 degrees.

Renovated, Modern interior and Rooms. Very clean. Quality bath products.

We were unable to connect to WiFi. The front desk, in two separate calls, referred us to an alleged Help Desk. My experience is that these individuals should be able to walk one through the steps to connect ( we’re talimin an iPhone here.) Instead, the agent claimed that Therese’s a connectivity issue in the hotel. I pushed back and pointed out that this seemed very strange, as the front desk would have been inundated by frustrated guests. The agent insisted. I called the front desk, who confirmed that hotel connectivity was fine. I find this insulting. It was just a way to get rid of me. When one travels, hotel WiFi is very important to the consumer. So is respectful service regarding a valid expectation that has not been met. I will tjilbg many times before using or recommending Hilton again.

Our stay at the Hilton Providence was not pleasant. I believe the hotel is under construction. There was no lobby, just a temporary entrance, the elevators sheathed in brown paper, a warren of rooms with no signage on the main floor and our room devoid of amenities. No coffee cubes, a coffee machine that needed repair even to make decaf tea, dismal furnishings, no fan in the bathroom. We should’ve been advised that this was not the time to stay there. The only thing to recommend it was a nice concierge who was trying to lesson our dissatisfaction.

You should be told about massive on-going property renovations before you book, not right before you arrive and your stay is no longer refundable. And please don’t tell me that work will only be occurring during certain hours when it was clearly still happening an hour after it should have stopped and started up again 2 hours earlier than what the sign in the lobby says.
