“For an older redone "historic" not horrible for the price
(golf tournament in tahoe made everything $$). Towel ripped while using it out of shower, house keeping let a older man into our room at 9am (check out is 11am) while we were saying wrong room, no thank you, yes do not disturb was on handle door locked. When front desk was called about it.. not a sorry, not a single effort to elevate the issue legit a "holy hell we are so sorry" instead of "dang, why are you calling me" could have made this go away. Dude on friday (check in) was super helpful and friendly. There is no smoaking on entire property even on porch. For a crash place for the night solid, 2 bars very close, casino across the street, close to routes, stores, gas and fast food. Also same shower head from my first apartment circa 1999 remodel.”

“Very nice stay. No complaints. Basic room but clean, spacious and had all the basics. Very accommodating to bring dogs. As dog travelers know there’s an additional $40/ per dog fee on check in. There’s a great park right across the street for easy dog potty runs. ”

“This is a no-frills rustic hotel that does not offer a lot as far as amazing amenities, but the staff is always amazing, the rooms are clean and fairly quiet and the location is fantastic as it is right on main street in Gardnerville, and next to Heritage Park. The rooms have air conditioning and basic necessities, and there is coffee every morning in the lobby. parking is easy. We stay here regularly and will be back.”
