“Wonderful stay in Grindelwald! Gorgeous view and pleasant patio area. The morning breakfast was yummy before heading out each morning to see the scenery in the Swiss Alps.”

“5/5 ⭐️ I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! To be honest, when we first arrived in Grindelwald, I wasn’t sure it would be my favorite stop. We stayed here specifically because we wanted to experience Grindelwald first—and I’m SO glad we did. The Mountain Carts and Trotbikes are a MUST! The front desk staff was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. They were happy to hold our bags until check-in, and they even recommended visiting some of the smaller towns in the area, including Mürren, which we ended up visiting and absolutely loved. Our room was fabulous! It had a door that opened directly onto a balcony, which was our only balcony of the entire Switzerland trip—and it was incredible. After being out exploring and hiking all day, having a private outdoor space to sit and relax for a bit was such a nice touch. When I go back to Switzerland, I’ll definitely be looking for more hotels with balconies! The complimentary buffet breakfast was also very, very good. Definitely make sure breakfast is included in your stay—it’s worth it! Overall, this was a wonderful stay and a great home base for exploring Grindelwald and the surrounding area. Highly recommend!”

“The hotel was in a convenient location easily accessible to the train station and bus access. Grocery, restaurants and shopping were within easy walking distance and Grindelwald First Gondola was less than 1/2 a mile away. The staff were friendly and the daily breakfast was fresh and yummy! The rooms are somewhat dated with very small bathrooms but clean and functioning. Would stay again.”

“The staff was excellent and went out of their way to be helpful-whether it was extra towels, directions to Lauterbrunnen, or providing extra ice, they were wonderful and did it with a smile. All staff was multi-lingual, which made the stay even more enjoyable.”

“Our room got a nice view of Eiger mountain. Staff are helpful, room facilities are basic. Bathroom is newly renovated and clean, but shower water temperature is not stable and water pressure was on low side. Down side is no air conditioning, only fan is available, which is not adequate for summer. My chocolates melt, and I can’t sleep due to hot nights,”
