“Nice place to stay for a few days by the beautiful lake. There were lots of flies around the breakfast spread which was not that good. The room felt very hot in the night even with open window.”

“Brief overnight stop. Decent enough room for the price. Not fancy or “corporate “ but the bed was a comfy single ( should have asked for another pillow - my mistake ), shower was hot and powerful enough and reception was polite and efficient. ”

“No mini fridge..I'm a diabetic and need my insulin refrigerated..”

“Location wise, this could not be better. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was nice. The restaurant in the evening has a good selection of Swiss traditional dishes - otherwise you can cross the road and go to Loewen (which belongs to the hotel as well). Note that for late night check-in you need to call them so they can leave your room key in a safe box at the main entrance (dead easy).”

“The hotel was right across the street from the lake. Delicious breakfast and great location in a beautiful, quiet town. Would definitely recommend this hotel and if in the area I would stay here again!”

“friendly staff and fair breakfast, But there is several location of this hotel our room was across the street and the room was old, i felt like the bed was a prison cot. small and thin and uncomfortable, the shower and bathroom was fine. ”

“So glad we decided to visit Brienz. This is a fabulous hotel with their terrific restaurant across the street with an outstanding view from the Terrace.”

“Check in was great (Sophia is very sweet), property is nice and food at the restaurant was really good. It is at the end of town so a lot of walking to get to the hotel and back to the main part of town. Also next to a church so if you don’t mind hearing the bell every 15 minutes (or you don’t like sleeping) it’s a good spot. ”
