good mountain view
We booked this hotel for one night when on a road trip through Switzerland, the check-in was smooth, the staff were very polite and helpful. We booked the Royal Double Room with views of the valley, which was spectacular! The room was very nice, cosy and clean, with a large TV (which has international channels), a mini-bar which is reasonably priced. There was a large balcony which wrapped around the corner and provided stunning views. The restaurant which is inside the hotel was not open on the night we stayed (a Monday night), but their sister hotel across the road (literally), was open and had good food at reasonable prices. There is free parking on the street, if you can find it - there is a multi-storey car park directly under the hotel which costs CHF 26.00 for 24 hours, which for us staying for one-night was fine. I would definitely stay again.
Booked this location for the gorgeous Mountain View’s and planned on having dinner on site. Unfortunately restaurant was closed (On a Friday Night). And the breakfast buffet was $21 per person but when we arrived all that was left was cold cereal options and left over bacon. Book for the view, not the food. Went by the social media photos and did not live up to it.
