Don’t go its 15% of the room price and the food should be deducted from the cost of the room and the tax. They want you to pay cash or that you put your card info in the phone. It’s not possible to get a receipt for this either. And it’s only when you book with hotels.com”

“We had the best experience! The way we checked in online and already knew what room was ours! Perfect! The room was VERY big and the beds comfortable! Nice and clean bathroom as well!
Breakfast was absolutely fine and the staff nice! 5 stars from our family ”

“Hotel was average. Just what you’d expect from a 2 star hotel. A bit old and tired premise but clean and did the trick. It was self check in and never saw a staff member at breakfast so cannot really rate staff.”

“Well, we slept ok.
Cleaning was... not bad, not great...
Standard German breakfast, ok and enough, but not exciting.
Walking distance to Flensburg shopping and restaurants is 3,5 km, taxi is 10-15 EUR.
Overall, it's a worn-down hotel that needs more than just a quick makeover. The hotel is wrapped in staffolding so don't expect a view (Nov./Dec. 2022).
Friendly and service minded staff.
Parking for free behind the hotel.
We stayed 2 nights. Definately prefer other hotels in the city center, but being priced twice the Hotel Nordig, we were quite happy.

“We arrived at the hotel and took the back entry as we parked our car there. There were all full ashtrays next to the exit. The whole stairway smelled like ashtray and cigarettes. We were in our room and suddenly another couple opened our door as they had recieved the same code for the room as we did. Room was double booked. During our stay the room smelled like cigarettes all the time as the exit was under our balcony and everybody was smoking there and the smell entered the room. Room itself was clean and OK tough.”
