“It was a relaxing place to rest after a long drive from Porto city. Surrounded by farmland it was a quiet and serene, Staff was professional. Breakfast was great...ample choice and variety of delicious fresh food. Although we did not utilize, there are two swimming pools available. Added bonus were the farm animals....great for all ages. Enjoyable stay1”

“Don't get me wrong, the hotel amenities are really nice and breakfast is okay, but both our rooms were right on top of the cafe and while the cafe was open (until around 12am) and as soon as the employees started coming in at around 5.30am there was no sleeping. I mentioned this at the reception and they didn't seem surprised or chocked about the fact that we didn't sleep well at all. Very disappointing.”

“Pleasant stay at Hotel O Gato. Loved the infinity pool! Not much in the area, and the restaurant at the hotel wasn't great, but it was really nice stay in the middle of nowhere and the pool was a huge plus.”

“The new part of hotel O Gato was everything you could wish for, they still have a few teething problems the breakfast was fairly basic as they Don't seem to have the kitchens up and running yet and you need to go down to the old hotel for meals which are good but not great, the landscaping I would presume is not finished as yet but the apartments are fully stocked with everything you need if you are cooking for yourself beautiful rooms well designed, comfortable lounges with large t.v.s on every floor, give it a bit longer and no doubt it will be a 4star hotel anyone would love staying at”
