“Good value for money, but room soundproofing and light-proofing need improvement”

“The hotel itself looks great – recently renovated with really beautiful and comfortable rooms. That part was definitely a highlight. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The biggest issue was the staff – with one very positive exception. Most seemed unprofessional and poorly informed. Several sent us to the wellness center, which turned out to be closed the whole time. It was advertised as part of the hotel’s offer, but we only found out by ourselves that it wasn’t available, and no compensation was offered. The pool area was also disappointing – the water was too cold, there were too few loungers, and surprisingly, there was nowhere to buy even something simple like an ice cream by the pool or beach. Check-in was unnecessarily strict – no access to rooms even a minute before 2 PM, which caused long lines and frustration. Food was tasty overall, but occasionally some dishes ran out, which shouldn’t happen in a hotel like this. One big positive worth mentioning: a lovely and genuinely kind staff member working in the Mediteran restaurant. She was professional, warm, and made us feel welcome – honestly one of the few reasons we’d even consider coming back. In short, a very average experience. The hotel looks nice, but the service needs serious improvement.”
