“Hotel Spinne was exactly what we were looking for when planning our Grindelwald trip. From the pool overlooking Eiger, to the spa and sauna facilities to relax and recover, it was the perfect stay. 10/10.”

“The room was very dated, and unfortunately the cleanliness did not meet expectations. The washroom had an unpleasant smell, and the bathtub was visibly dirty upon arrival. There is no air conditioning in the room, so it became quite warm at night even in May. The room itself is also very small, although I was aware of that before booking. The balcony was the best feature of the room with a good view, but even the outdoor table and chairs were dirty. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, however the cleanliness and food handling practices were concerning. The staff preparing omelettes were using the same gloved hands to handle different ingredients, creating potential cross-contamination between meat, vegetables, and cheese. I also witnessed a staff member handling cheese with bare hands while wearing shellac nails, which was very unhygienic and concerning from a food safety perspective. For the amount of money charged per night, I would not recommend this facility.”

“Our room was the double suite with the best views I have ever seen of the mountains . The rooms were beautifully designed and very clean . We got upgraded and the staff was delightful. I would stay here again and again. The location was spot on too in the middle of the Main Street.”

“The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view. The pool was beautiful and warm. It was nice being in the cool air in the warm pool. The staff was ALL so kind. I enjoyed my stay.”

“Amazing views from the pool, room is functional and has a good fan to keep air moving, and the fridge is an under rated benefit. Awesome true spa area as well, although I wish they did more at check in to explain the procedures so people don’t get awkwardly surprised (clothing is expressly banned, and it is mixed gender)”
