“Clean and spacious. Excellent food in the restaurant. Beds were fine, but the pillows are very thin and there were no extra pillows for more neck support. Breakfast 630-930 and checkout at 1000 is quite early I think, would have been nice if we could eat and leave an hour later.”

“We stayed for two nights.
Good service at the reception, though they didn't seem to know much English. Luckily I still know some German from school.
The room was kept clean and tidy and had a nice balcony.
The area is calm and pleasant. Close to Eckernförde, which is where we spent our days.
We came with a car and I think you need a car if you stay there.
Breakfast was good. Ok selection.”

“I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Wittensee. The hotel is located in a very small village, away from the noise and traffic and such. Very nice place and a great restaurant on site as well. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Only negative thing was there was no fitness center on site. Otherwise, very much enjoyed this place and would stay again when in the area.”

“The hotel commands a wonderful view towards a lake. Each room is spacious enough to accommodate 4 people. Quite and relaxing”

“This is a very family and pet friendly hotel in North Germany. The food is excellent and served with a smile. The fresh whole plaice was a particular favourite. Breakfast was also very good with hot and cold food available. The Hotel benefits from having three annexes which is ideal if travelling with a pet dog. Rooms are spacious and functional and beds very comfortable.”
