Positive: Loved the location. Park was clean and secure with a barrier but people could wander in. Good cafe. Accommodation was in a great place next to the lake with a dedicated parking spot. Nice modern caravan.
Negative: We tried the TV but gave up, no channels loaded, even after re-establishing wi-fi on it. Instructions left were hard to read and inaccurate in describing setting up/using. Was very annoying when you pay for something you cannot use. Got a shock off the kettle; labels of PAT tests on electricals were from 2022!
Recommend that cleaning products be left for visitors and bin liners. Could do with a little detailing in the cleaning too, spider webs, dust and dirty chairs. Doors could do with adjustment as catching and need a firm shutting. Steps to door need moving further forward as door too close to top step, my dog slid backwards and better outside light bulb and an additional light would be good. Some damp in main bedroom due to downspout outside. Settee was uncomfortable.
I always clean up well before I leave but stripping beds is the cleaners job and so is the detailed cleaning such as cleaning shower and shower head, hoovering under sofa, spiders webs, cupboard doors, inside fridge, etc. It’s not nice for the owners if they are paying for this.

The property sits in the ideal location overlooking the lake. It was very clean and tidy inside and well equipped .Very cosy and warm, the perfect place to stay in January, especially if you want to get away after Xmas.
Negative:
Key pad outside needs oiling up or replacing as struggled to open it up on arrival.
Summary: The perfect location, already booked again for the same time next year. 5* 😍

Doors need replacing/realigning as very hard to close and lock. Key safe is old and broken, needs replacing. FreeSat doesn’t work, old cables hanging out. Main bed uncomfortable, sheets didn’t fit properly. Main selling point being the lake view - why is there a 6 foot high bush between the caravan and the lake view??
Summary: So much potential, poorly executed. As is, not worth the price charged.

On arrival, the lodge was immaculate, plus a welcome pack of tea and biscuits went down well after a long journey.
I so enjoyed sitting on the decking every morning, being visited by the swans and a cheeky moor hen while drinking my coffee.
it was a beautiful lodge and became a memorable holiday for myself and husband.
Would I return? Definitely.
Negative:
TV kept needing to be tuned in etc, no sooner was this done, then a light aircraft flew over and upset the signal!
Also the front door was difficult to shut.
