Our stay at Les Ambeles was exceptional. Jaime and Veronique were the most amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The accommodation was superb, the breakfast was perfect. I highly recommend Les Ambeles. It was a highlight of our holiday!

We stayed here with our ten year old son. The location is good and hosts were very friendly and welcoming and most helpful with ideas and restaurants etc. The rooms were very nice and modern and beautifully cleaned daily. We stayed in Curaçao first which was lovely and then moved to Clematis as there was more room for our sons extra bed, so it was much more comfortable for the three of us. The bathrooms were very nice and modern with organic hand and body wash which was a nice touch. The breakfast was very nice and freshly prepared each morning, including a bowl of freshly made fruit salad, home made jams, good quality coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There were fresh pastries and bread and home made cookies/cakes. The pool was lovely and a great size and even better it was saltwater rather than chemicals which was fantastic. The surrounding gardens and fruit/vegetable gardens were well maintained with lots of space for sun beds etc. There were several seating areas around the plot, one tiny comment would be that we would prefer to have a designated terrace area for each room directly accessible from the room as it was a little confusing where we could sit. It would be nice to have more private patio areas that belong to each room. They did say we could sit anywhere though so it wasn’t an issue. There was a communal kitchen with tables inside in case we couldn’t have breakfast outside due to the weather. We were able to keep drinks/snacks in the fridge.

Big garden in perfect condition. About 10 Meter heated Pool- Great thing!! Delicious breakfast including fresh fruit salad with berries from their garden. Kitchen with tea and coffee and other stuff to be used at all times.

The property was magnificent with a garden, a swimming pool, and beautifies. The bedroom/bath combination was private, had a comfortable bed, a chair, a TV, towels, an en-suite bathroom with a lovely rainfall shower, sink, toiletries, and separate toilet. A small area has tables and chairs and a small fridge with water and other beverages. Breakfast is included with croissant, fruit, coffee, homemade jam, and more. The hosts helped us find a wonderful restaurant for dinner and vineyards. We hated to leave, it was such a lovely B and B with a charming host and hostess.

It is rare to find holiday accommodation that looks even better in real life than the pictures, but Les Ambeles is one of those finds. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and the owners are the perfect hosts: welcoming, kind and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble for Jaime and Veronique. The property is surrounded by vineyards and villages - lots of lovely 'Frenchness' for you to soak up. The grounds too are immaculate and wonderful for just sitting and relaxing. The breakfast, which in warm weather can be served outside, is fresh and delicious. I hope to be able to return one day and would certainly recommend this accommodation.

We loved the rooms, clean, modern, great pool and grounds. Parking perfect. Out of the way after a busy time in city. The owners were wonderful, helpful and shared a breakfast that was so enjoyable. They went out of their way to get us off in the morning in the right direction with maps and tips.
