Summary: The reception and bar area was alright but our room was very tired and not for comfort. The staff were friendly. We checked out a day early as we just needed more comfort and luxury. To be fair, the reception asked if everything was alright with the room but we didn’t want to cause offense so we didn’t say anything. I think if all the room had a decent refurb it’d be worth the £150 per night.

Summary: From the moment we entered the hotel we were made to feel welcome, the young man on reception was very helpful and friendly he offered us an upgrade to a sea view room and honestly could not fault the view or the lovely sunsets. The room was spacious and clean, with everything we could need on hand. we did not eat at the hotel as we were visiting family but from the glimpses into the restaurant it looked very nice and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.,

Summary: The hotel has been nicely refurbished and is in a good location, close to both the town and the beach. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble!

Summary: I wasn’t impressed by the reception. When we arrived at night, we rang the doorbell telling the receptionist that we have a reservation and would like to check in. The man was asking me if we came to the right hotel with doubtful voice and let us stood outside for quite some time. It was already late, chilly and we had heavy bags. After for a while waiting outside, the man came down to let us in and told us someone already checked in with my name and took our room so I had to prove my identity which was no problem. They told us that we are lucky as there was only one room left so that they could put us to that room. But it wasn’t the twin bed I booked and there was no explanation nor apology. I booked twin bed as I was with my friend to complete a sport competition the next day. I understand it would have been a nightmare if there wasn’t any room left and I’m glad they put me in the room. However, I don’t understand how this even happened (did they even check the ID for a check in?). Overall, it was a quite stressful and unpleasant experience.

Summary: The hotel had some character. We booked car parking for £12 a night at the rear of the hotel, we did not expect to park on waste ground with a 75 yard walk to the back door. The room was small but OK. We booked a table for 7pm. in the restaurant when we arrived the room was empty and no sign of staff, we enquired in the bar to be told that meals were being served in the bar.
We ordered drinks to have with the meal and were asked to pay for them, we said would they book it to our room, this seemed to cause a problem. The menu was very limited, it was nearly an hour before our meals arrived the food was good and the Waffles are well worth investigating. We paid for our meals because it appeared that they did not have system set up to add it to our room. We could not have a printed receipt but could have a text or e-mail. We were grateful we had only booked one night. We will not be rebooking, nor would we recommend it to anybody.

Summary: Stayed in room 12A which had a nice view over the sea. Room was clean and modern - no a/c but a powerful fan had been placed in the room before arrival and the windows opened. Each member of staff was cheerful, polite and helpful. Breakfast was nice and value for money.

Summary: We had been traveling for about 18 hours when we finally arrived at the hotel. We were treated warmly and our room was ready even though we were there before check-in time. The room had a view of the water, was very clean, had tea and coffee in the room, along with biscuit snacks. The bathroom had a lovely shower, however it was impossible to keep the water inside the shower due to its design. We enjoy a full English breakfast which was delicious and more than enough. The hotel is in town, so very convenient to get around.

Summary: Another lovely stay at the Manor. Staff very welcoming. Room comfortable but be prepared for old fashioned. If you want newer and more uniform, pay a lot more at the Premier inn with its scaffolding still!! I like Exmouth's old hotels they have character and offer GVFM . We didn’t have breakfast but did have food in the bar the evening before which was excellent. Book parking ahead of your stay as it’s limited. Out the front there are public spaces, but v limited.

Summary: A superbly located hotel overlooking Exmouth beach. Staff were exceptionally helpful at all times, Room was cool and comfortable and we were lucky enough to have a lovely sea view. Another highlight was the spacious bar and an excellent selection of cocktails. Only minor issues were difficulty parking and a cooked breakfast which could have better quality ingredients. 9/10

Summary: Lovely stay, room spacious and had lovely view of the sea. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Only thing I would suggest is that the £13 for breakfast for the continental was a bit high especially for my dad as he only had a bowl of cereal, there was a good selection though. Maybe two separate prices as the full English was definitely worth the money.
