Good sized clean room, although the bunked placement made getting in the door a little awkward. Nice hotel and the pool was definitely a hit with our children.

We stayed in a family room with a bunk bed and a double, with a litthe kitchenette and table and chairs. Room was great, probably too small if you plan to actually spend time in it during the day, but perfect as a base to explore the region. The breakfast was a standart buffet with cooked options, charcuterie and cheese, cerrals and dried fruit with several plant milk choices. Most staff speak English and are happy to help with recommendations in the local area. Plenty of restaurants in the village within a minute walk from the hotel.

Staff was not so welcoming at reception on 31 December and 1 January.

Certain small issues in the room but overall a very good stay. Parking access did not work well.

Poor service (table cleaning, seating and busy

We have stayed at this hotel once before 2 yrs ago, & we’re so impressed by it, we actually amended our road trip route in order to incorporate a stay here. However, this time we were left rather disappointed. The food here was excellent last time, so we planned on eating there this time, but less than 72 hrs before our stay, I received an email telling us that there was a large party/meeting for the evening of our stay, so the restaurant would be closed to the rest of the guests. No suggestions were given as to where we could go to eat instead, And at breakfast the following morning, the dining room had been left with most of the individual tables left pushed together, to form banquet style seating for the ore ious nights party. These tables were not made up for breakfast, & there were only 3 tables for 2, which were set up. So people were having to sit in the ends of the huge banquet tables. It all felt abit like as a paying guest, we were not given any sort of service at all.

Nice hotel, pool was OK but was a bit small and dark. Parking at the hitel car park (under the hotel) was so expensive, advise to park outside on the road after 6pm where it is free. Nice eating out places within walking distance. Friendly staff, very accommodating. Would stay again.
