Mountain Valley Inn Dillard Reviews
Location would have been great if Dillard hadn't cancelled their 4th of July celebration. There are water stains on the ceilings and smelled bad in our room. Beds were comfortable and clean. Parking was good and right by our room.
At first glance you think it's a sub par, old motel. It is old, but it's one of cleanest motels I've been to. The shower pressure is unmatched by ANY I've been to, including very expensive places. The rooms are priced like rooms at other places but mine was much bigger, with a couch, etc.
We’ve been staying here for about 5 or 6 years now. It’s always been clean and nice not exceptional but nice. This time I have a few complaints. He has replaced the bed base with ones made of metal. Every time you sit on the bed or roll over it sounds like an oil can or beer can being flexed. It’s very annoying. The second issue I cannot confirm but I believe he may have taken in some “long term rentals” which were sketchy and loud. A small child was in the room above us and was allowed to stay up very late which translated to constant running and jumping while we were trying to sleep. We will go back next year however if the situation is the same, we’ll stay somewhere else.
