“We had a really great stay at Open Sky Cabana and would definitely recommend it!
The owners were so kind and really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They made us a delicious homemade breakfast, and you could tell they really cared about their guests. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was very clean.
The only thing to be aware of is that the road to the cabana is a bit narrow. Also, it’s best not to walk around outside at night because there can be wild elephants in the area (this goes for the whole area outside the city center).
Overall, we had an amazing experience. It’s a lovely place if you want to be close to nature, and the owners made us feel so welcome. We’d happily stay here again!”

“Wonderfull family, Supun and his amazing wife. The place is all new, just finished, we were first guests and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! Cabana is very comfortable, bed is huge and the view from the bed and from cabana is breathtaking.
They were so on service for us so our few days in Sigiriya be well spent and safe. Breakfast was so delicious and various, every morning different, we even had short cooking class which was amazing. They can help you with anything you need, excursions, advices what to visit.
The place is 5 minutes with scooter or tuk tuk away from main road/city.
Wifi signal is weak, but here you come to connect with nature and disconnect from internet and daily tasks/work.
Again, thank you for everything, we hope to come see you again!”
