“A great location for exploring the old town and a relatively hi spec clean room. However for us breakfast was not included in the £346 tariff we paid per night. We did arrive in the high season though. The room was described on hotels.com as a panoramic suite. It was neither. 2 small windows and definitely could not be considered the definition of a a suite. The room was very small compared to other hotels we have stayed in in the area and quite dark there was not much natural light. There are a flight of steps to negotiate with cases. No lift. No smart tv. The roof top pool and 2 sun beds we did not get to use as there was always someone there before us. The cost of a taxi quoted by staff to take us to Fasano was 129 euros. In the end we caught the train for 2 euros.”

“Hotels.comiin We stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon in the Puglia region. We paid €520 for the Premium Suite for two nights, and unfortunately the experience did not reflect the price. We shared our feedback with the staff halfway through our stay so they would have had the opportunity to address our concerns and improve our experience. The outcome was that they offered us a beer from the minibar (which we had already consumed) as compensation and removed a dirty blanket from the room. The “Premium Suite” lacked basic functionality and did not appear to have been properly maintained. The bedspread had a dried white stain on it when we arrived, and the bathroom walls were covered with splashes and marks. There was no proper waste bin, not enough hooks for hanging towels or clothes, and very little surface space for our belongings, including our suitcases. The air conditioning was the loudest we have ever experienced—like sitting in a car with the A/C running at maximum. It was difficult to relax with the constant noise. If we turned the A/C off, we could hear all the noise from the street. The location of our room felt unusual and detached from the rest of the property, although this did not bother us in itself. The room had its own entrance directly from the street. The street outside was fairly busy, with frequent traffic and on-street parking. Since the sidewalk was quite narrow, several pedestrians were startled when our door opened into their path.”

“Absolutely beautiful breathtaking suite with fantastic design. Would be very difficult to better it. Very modern, and luxurious. Everything appeared brand new. Well equipped kitchen. Hot tub, marble troughs, and ceiling shower in the bathroom. Great views of harbour and sea. Rooftop solarium fabulous with far reaching views. Breakfast in a separate restaurant very acceptable. Staff very friendly & helpful. Don’t waste time looking elsewhere.”

“A quaint and cool harbor of comfort during a pouring rain, which made our stay in Monopoli outstanding. Gabriella was particularly warm and inviting, a very friendly and courteous host and guide...her radiance overpowered the terrible weather! The room was one-of-a-kind, the perfect example of luxury, bespoke accommodations.The tub and fireplace were lovely features. The site--a former fishmonger's worksite directly on the harbor--added a historical significance. And the to-order breakfast was tasty and cheerfully delivered. Significant to us, Gabriella went out of her way to ship to us a forgotten item...the epitome of customer care. Highly recommend Palazzo Giuditta!”

“Renovated old building in a good location - on the edge of the port. The reno is nicely done but our room was a bit, well, strange. Very very dark, tiny windows and there were low arches between the bedroom, entrance and bathroom. Fine if you are short but my 5’11 husband needed to duck to walk from one to the other. It felt like we were staying in a cave. I’m guessing other rooms might not have this issue?”

“Good location, welcome, and help with difficult parking. Otherwise most disappointing – “Romantic Suite” bedroom was oppressive and cramped, with nowhere to put stuff down and much of the floor space taken up by an unnecessary bath. Bathroom stylish but impractical. Roof terrace had nowhere comfortable to sit and enjoy the view.”
