“I had relatives over from Australia. 3 generations of people who visited cornwall year after year as kids so this was to be a trip down memory lane. OMG did Cathy and Juergen start this off for us with a bang. Pandia Cottage in the heart of Bodmin Moor, in the middle of the woods, quaint , country roads passing sheep and cattle roaming free, and streams that you can hear running over the rocks. We arrived, ample parking. We were met by Cathy the lovliest lady you will ever meet, made us feel very welcome from the start. We enter the property where Cathy grew up to find a hand written note to us personally, a bottle of wine in the fridge along with milk. Biscuits, teas, coffees, a log fire ready just to light. Perfectly clean, very expensive towels ,( you could tell by the weight of them). We 3 said .... maybe we just stay here and forget the trip down memory lane!!!! So much effort put in and the small touches made it that extra special. Their home was our home, the garden is beautiful and pretty much i think wildflower is the modern term, with paths cut in the grass. We were free to wander as we pleased . It was like being in a secret garden you just never knew what you would come accross next. I was like a kid in a sweet shop. A very very special place. Some may try to pick fault but if you love and understand the countryside this is for you, if you dont you will have no clue how special this is. We looked forward to returning every evening to get that log fire on. When we left Cathy met us to check we enjoyed our stay and that everything was ok. They care so much that you have had a good experience. After many years visiting cornwall through my childhood and teenage years this experience has made me fall in love with Cornwall again and as long as Pandia is available i will return and use it as my base, i may even just go and park the car throw away my keys and explore the local area. I think you might gather i highly recommend this cottage.”
