Positive: I liked the peace and quiet and the grounds was absolutely stunning.

Positive: Beautiful house, excellent facilities. Lovely and peaceful

Negative: Bit awkward to get to and can only drive in from one direction but its not the end of the world.

Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The host was incredibly accommodating and super friendly, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is truly special, tucked away in a beautiful forest area with winding roads through stunning landscapes. Even the drive to the property felt magical! The house itself has a lot of character, which we really loved, and the peaceful, quiet surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The apartment was very roomy and spacious, with lovely high ceilings that made it feel even more comfortable. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches from the hosts, including the wine, coffee, milk, and other little essentials they had left for us.

Negative: The shower(head) could perhaps benefit from an upgrade, but was definitely not a deal breaker.

Positive: Superb location, super quiet and peaceful. Huge apartment with all kind of details. Loved it!

Positive: We've travelled alot and stayed in many places and want to say that this was a very special find. Look for a driveway signed 'The Rookery' and its tucked away up there. The patio flat is a spacious, light and airy ground floor apartment with separate bedroom and bathroom. Both the bedroom and the open plan kitchen/ lounge room look out onto beautiful gardens which you can sit in. We visited in April when the Rhododendrons were in bloom. There is a dining table for two next to the kitchen which had a welcome basket and card on it as well as being set for tea. The hosts had also placed little bunches of fresh wildflowers around the place which was a lovely touch. The kitchen has everything you need if you intend to shop and eat in which we did. It also includes a microwave, oven/cooker and built in separate fridge and freezer. There are superstores like tesco a short drive away so you can stock up. The area is lovely. We drove through farmland to get there and two minutes drive in the other direction and you cross a bridge which is worth stopping at to watch the water and the trees. A stop at the Stable Art /Cobys Cafe after this, is a must. A recently refurbished and converted church which offers great coffee, cake and arts/crafts. The hosts of the patio flat are so friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a quiet retreat but in easy driving distance to places of interest, this place is for you.

Positive: Host very good and very helpful the place is just hard to find but lovely!!

Positive: Nice location to wedding venue. Very large rooms. Kept clean.

Negative: It’s dog friendly which is nice, but the room smelt of dogs. We bought plug in air fresheners and candles which helped. I would suggest you leave plug in fresheners yourselves so it doesn’t spoil people’s first impressions.
