“Although there are only four rooms, ours was comfortable and equipped with all essentials (except it could use more electrical outlets). It was very dark and quiet at night, allowing a great night's sleep. The inn is exactly how a country inn should be and there is an absolutely superb beer garden. The staff were all attentive and considerate. The food in the restaurant is a bit variable but is perfectly adequate and our continental breakfast was fine for us. We'd be very happy to stay here again.”

“This was our second stay. Lovely comfortable rooms, staff were really friendly. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it. We also had an evening meal which was also very good. Would definitely recommend.”

“Ideally suited in the middle of a model village. Large green space adjacent where we could exercise the dogs. Only four rooms which were accessed by a narrow staircase. Obviously the room was more typical of an Inn room and was not modernised. However the room was spacious and the bed comfy. It was tastefully decorated with pictures/ornaments which gave it a homely feel. The en-suite shower room was very small and our shower leaked under the bottom of the shower base. It was a bit dingy.
Check-in was a bit chaotic insofar as we had to check in at the bar which was very busy. The bar staff were more intent on serving customers than welcoming us. However once checked the staff were very friendly particularly those serving food. The food was excellent
We would most certainly stay again if we revisit the area.
