“We went down for and we was told they ran out of food and she closed up early, so no breakfast for us. So wrong!”

“Room was clean, bathroom toilet paper holder needed a tube. Breakfast was nice.”

“We stayed here for one night, after our visit to Point Pleasant to the Mothman Museum. The hotel is VERY dated. While the beds were comfortable, the rooms definitely need updated. The curtains were in need of replacement or a good wash, the walls need scrubbed down, and painted/repaired, the windows were dirty, the AC didn't work well at all, and the bathroom condition wasn't any better. The bath towels looked new, but the wash cloths were grey and dingy looking. I was a bit hesitant to use them, that's for sure. And honestly, the bathroom may have been cleaned, but it didn't look clean, because it needs updated. They must also offer smoking rooms, as the smell of cigarette smoke was very prominent in the halls. On the plus side, the staff is very friendly and their bar/restaurant was very nice, and it had a pool table. As far as the continental breakfast...we had no luck getting any food. Not sure if they were under staffed or not?? I will also say, the hotel was packed, so they do a decent business. But I will say that the hotel needs some serious updates to it. If you're passing through the area, and just need a place to rest for the night, it's ok. But I would probably look for something else if you're looking for a clean, updated room.”

“Excellent value! The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast wasn’t just prepackaged garbage; it was an actual restaurant with wait staff that was included with my room! I can see why it appeared so close to full on a random night. Stay here”

“Our carpet was soaked near one of the beds...later we identified (by the smell) that it was beer. The front desk offered us another room but honestly it smelled just as musty and mildewy as the first. There was mold around the bathtub and on the bathroom wall. Our expectations for this hotel, based on the low price, were well, low, but sadly they weren't low enough.”

“Room was clean but not updated the way other rooms were. Breakfast was what you would expect at this type of hotel. The gym was quite poorly represented in the photos - it has 2 treadmills and an exercise bike. Also, a set of 2.5lb dumbbells. This was disappointing as I selected this hotel for the opportunity to work out.”
