Quality Inn Mount Pleasant | Hotel in Mount Pleasant

Our room was on the third floor (of 3) and was clean and quiet, and well supplied with amenities. There was a mini fridge. The staff was friendly. Answered all of our questions about Mt. Pleasant. Fully stocked continental breakfast was available until 10:30 am. They had overflow parking spots in the back, which was one way. A back door which forced us to walk past the front desk, to get to the elevator. I appreciated that they were aware of comings and goings of hotel guests. Nice place, I would stay again.

The room was very dirty. Toe or finger nail clippings behind the night stand, wrinkled bedding, and the room smelled of marijuana. The front desk staff member was nice.

Stayed here before, so knew it was a safe bet. This time, a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Long alarm...

The comforter on the bed was soiled so bad my husband refused to stay the second night.

Wouldn't stay here again.. unfortuntely it was the only hotel available at the time due to an event that was happening at CMU. Hotel had a very bad odor throughout, the hallways were so hot, breakfast was not good. They first put me in a room that had a conjoined room in which the door between them did not lock, I went down to get a room switch, but at first they didn't want to switch rooms for me. The room windows were nasty and dirty, and tape on the doors.

The hotel was dark and gloomy. The hallways were dirty like they haven’t been vacuumed in a long time. Our room was covered in a layer of dust. It looked like it had been cleaned and just left for months. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. The staff was unprepared and not very helpful. We were able to go back in our rooms after the fire department showed up. With still no explanation. I would definitely not stay there again. I feel like the reviews online are misleading.

If you have a choice, avoid this hotel. It has so many issues, it's hard to describe. For starters, the entire property is in need of renovation - the entryway looks tired and worn. The bathrooms have toilets that run constantly, the rooms are tight, the carpet is worn, the windows are old and leaky, the sheets on the bed are polyester and cling to you as you try to sleep, our mattress cover was so pilled it felt like needles in your back, etc. etc. The hot breakfast was the same thing each day and looked completely unappetizing. The staff are really nice and helpful, and accommodated our request for a room change, but it can't make up for an uncomfortable experience overall.
