Positive:
The location was great, very quiet. Beautiful little cottage, wonderful ambience and a great welcome gift. Exceptionally clean. We were super impressed. We had a problem with our checkout time due to a medical emergency, the owners helpfully agreed to extend the time til 1.30pm even though they had new visitors that night. Would heartily recommend again. Hope to be back!
Negative:
We found the sofa uncomfortable, although it was of lovely quality it was a bit too low, could be our age!
Summary: Exceptional cottage, a great stay, would recommend.

The place was spotless and the heating system was excellent as you could text to get the heating on before you got in for the day.
Negative:
The oven was a little complicated for someone who has never used a combination oven before but I got to grips with it.
Summary: Fantastic little cottage in a beautiful part of the country

Positive:
Redmond’s Retreat was a lovely, welcoming and quaint property that delivered all it promised. A great location nestled in a quiet area yet a stones throw from all the wonders of the Peak District.
Negative:
A slight point for improvement is that we found the bed settee in the living space uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. As this is the main sitting area, we feel this could be improved massively.
Summary: Comfortable, welcoming and a great host who left some lovely touches for us to enjoy.
