“The Rodeway”

“The front desk staff and room attendants were exceptional, to say the least. They were so accommodating, friendly, and efficient. Every encounter held with the employees was memorable. The dissatisfaction only comes from the property maintenance which has less to do with the employees, in my opinion, and more to do with the owners. The property is close to being deplorable. The elevator was inoperable, the “advertised” pool on the website is not usable, and the decor for the rooms seem to be ordered from the famous Temu. The pool had dark green water and trash floating in it. The maintenance for the entire hotel needs real work from third party companies who specialize in renovations. The stairwell situation is also a small issue. To access the stairwell on the right side of the building, you have to walk outside by the disgusting pool to get back inside to get to the second floor. The same stairwell I’m describing also has a leak from the ceiling. This property could be a gem in such a small area. It’s practically the only option. Instead of the owners treating it as a getaway for travelers/workers/patrons, it seems the thought process is, “Well this is the only option so take it or leave it.” The only memo I have is you catch more flies with honey.”

“Parking was fine, not a lot of it, I didn’t try the breakfast. The staff was great!”

“The staff was very friendly and accommodating! The only complaints I have are the elevators were broken and I was on the second floor, however the staff offered multiple times to help me carry anything I needed, and the walls were so thin I could hear the alarm continuously going off in the other room next to me at 5am. Other than those two things, the cleanliness was amazing and the staff was wonderful ”

“The room furniture (pull out/ottom & chair) were dirty/stained but able to pry from the sticky substance that had it stuck to the wall. Pushed away and didn’t use. The tub/shower was mildewed with cracked peeling wall, water was brown even though I read a sign that said it was “sanitary”. One outlet worked aside from the TV, had to call the front desk using my cell. Tv remote fell apart. Towels were stained (brought my own) Bed was ok for comfort (I brought my own cleaning products) all 3 pillows flattened to one decent pillow. Breakfast was frozen eggos, yogurt left on the counter, no milk, apple juice smelled like a fart. Staff was super friendly and attentive despite the conditions they work in. I HIGHLY ADVISE pay more for a better place”

“Well the smell of Marijuana coming from the room across from us was so strong hopefully i don't get a piss test at my job anytime soon!! Night time front desk clerk was not very sociable at all. Elevators broken, need more handicapped parking. ”

“The staff was friendly at check in and checkout. The room was nice, but there was toothpaste in the sink and the alarm clock kept making a weird noise so I had to unplug it. Continental breakfast was better than most hotels. All in all, my husband and I would stay again!”
